“Floral, spice, rose, orange blossom and apricot aromas. Rich, round and sweet on the palate with complex, ripe citrus flavors. Perfectly balanced acidity reigns in the residual sugar. The mid-harvest rains in the Waitaki brought with them a classic botrytis infection, most notably and desirably in the Riesling. As they say, ‘every cloud has it’s silver lining’: this wine is it.
